Site Reclamation, Extensive Tree Work, Landscaping and Installation of Water Features
Working alongside the architect and developer, we were responsible for all the external works on the redevelopment of a residential care home in Barnet. The work involved reinstating and landscaping the dilapidated, overgrown residential care home garden which had fallen into disuse and and was a danger to elderly residents. We were asked to provide facilities for wheel chair users including sensory mosaic path surfaces and raised plant beds.
The scope of the works involved
- Tree cutting, pruning and removal
- Semi mature tree planting
- Site clearance and reclamation
- Reinstatement of pond borders, dredging and remodeling
- Installation of water features such as decking and bridges
- Sensory planting and raised planters
- Hard landscaping including patio design and installation
London-Tree-Surgeons.co.uk carried out a tree survey report and submitted designs for a comprehensive site reinstatement involving extensive tree surgery, hard landscaping and sensory planting. The original water feature also needed complete renovation with attention paid to wheel chair access and safety.
